Are We Equal or evenly Evil?

Are We Equal or evenly Evil?

We are doomed to wander and wonder this earth.

Is this life for me, is it really?

As I rock back and forth in mama’s hands, she carries me and says baby don’t you dare.

Be a man; don’t you cry today, but that ain’t fair.

As I pray to God to take me away, I can longer feel this pain, no way.

For it will only take another life for us to realize we were not created to live this way.

Why does it take pain to make you Notice the wind in the day?

Why do we wait for the rain to wash it all away?

Yet we stay forever sinful from day to day.

One can only think are we equal, or is one man greater than another?

Or are we equal for we are evenly evil?

Or perhaps each is specially made in an image of our own evil.

But somehow day after day,

Sequel after sequel,

Life after life,

Breath after breath,

We remain unequal.

My brothers and sisters getting killed like we In the front lines.

My mother’s pain I can feel,

In the ground her son lies, can you hear the cries?

It’s a genocide they don’t even try to disguise,

In all black and blue , this ain’t nothing new it’s just everywhere now to see for me and you.

Yea right, you never knew!

We can’t hide, we won’t be oppressed on the streets in all black we will be dressed.

Not to impress, not for media,

But to expose those who don’t believe In ya!
